As an ethical brand it is important for us to work directly with farmers in the thanaka grwoing districts in Myanmar.
As Creative Director I have also taken on the role of ensuring we wrok directly with the right people and benefit the growers directly.
It was important to work with both the NZ & Myanmar embassies as well as make contact with NGO, Action Aid, to ensure we were setting up agreements to benefit the local growers of Myanamr Thanaka.
