Su Kyi. Myanmar
I am Su Kyi. I live in the southern part of Myaing Township.
Schools here accept children when they’re six. When I was five, I was very eager to go to school, so I started earlier than everyone else.
I still remember my mother used to help us wearing Thanaka until we were ten. We did not know how to beautify ourselves, or what beauty meant for these new generations. I graduated from Pakokku University, in Mynamar, in 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Currently I am helping build a school fence in coordination with ActionAid Myanmar. My community is also involved in contributing to this process. I am working as an intern in ActionAid Myanmar. In the future, I want to be a business woman. I have a plan, I wish to take a leading role in my village, as my community cannot access a lot of things, so I would like to cooperate with different stakeholders, for my community.
